I have read quite a few of Emily Griffin's books, most recently I finished her newest one, Heart of the Matter. It probably wasn't my favorite of hers, but close. The other ones that I liked of hers was Something Borrowed and Something Blue. I would have to say that they are not my absolute favorite books but are nice when you want an easy, good read.
Heart of the Matter is about two woman who are connected by one of the woman's husband. He is a pediatric surgeon who gets a little caught up with his patients mother. I liked this book because each chapter switches from each woman's point of view. Emily Griffin sheds some light on how one woman is slowly losing her husband and how the other woman stumbles into a relationship with an unavailable man.
If you are going on a trip, this is a perfect airplane and vacation book. It is easy to read and follow yet entertaining enough to sit down, relax and loose yourself in the book.
